This was the perfect choice for my wife, Mary, and I have the opportunity to
Experience a romantic weekendtogether, away from the routine of the
Life. Prior to this wonderful opportunity, we organized the
Baby sitter for our four children, completed various projects and easy weekend
arranged our transport to accommodation, Victoria Canada.
Travel to Canada Victoria could not be simpler. You can
Select by boat or plane, we chose with the ship to stay on board the famous Victoria Clipper. It's fast,
comfortable, convenient and offers aappealing romantic atmosphere traveling
across the water. Life
couldn't be any easier. The Victoria Clipper also offers all-inclusive getaway
packages including: transportation, accommodations and even sight-seeing
opportunities.
Getting to the "Clipper" is effortless. We simply had a
relative drop us off at the Clipper dock located on Pier 69 along Seattle's
waterfront, 2701 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98121 (206) 448-5000. If you're
driving and need parking, that's simple too, check out the
parking facility the Clipper recommends.
We arrived an hour before the scheduled boarding. This gave us ample
time to check-in our bag, pick up our boarding passes and proceed through
security. Be sure to bring the appropriate identification. Check
with the Victoria Clipper before leaving your home if you have any questions
regarding acceptable identification. You don't want to miss the boat!
Once you've gone through all the check-in procedures on board the ship
is a simple process. Meals are based on a "first-come, first-served
Basis. If you are one of the first passengers through check-in, you will
probably the first board. The advantage? ... Get you select your seat. There
are no reserved seats for that romantic weekend, you get what is right
for you.
Once places we found best for us, we just relaxed as the

the small "duty-free shop and bought a breakfast basket and went to

we return location for a relaxing, romantic trip on Puget Sound to Victoria
Canada, the beginning of our romantic getaway.
The trip takes about 2 ½ hours, but time passes very quickly. We were just talking to

romantic ten minute walk to the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel is a breeze.
To the suggestion of my wife, we used a compact travel bag for overnight
Wheels. This is the way to travel, light, no heavy bags hanging with ease,

The Marriott is easy to find. You can
easy walking distance, as we did, or take a taxi. We moved on foot, it has
the magical mystery of exploring this romantic setting. Pick up a free map
from the Clipper and you will find the Marriott directly behind the remarkable Fairmont
Empress Hotel, 728 Humboldt Street.

Check-in, with the courteous staff, we pursued our romance
Suite on the 14th Floor, overlooking Victoria's inner harbor.
Wow! What an elegant suite, all ready to work with
the romantic touch by the essence of our romantic getaway. The elegant furniture, beautiful decor,
accompanied by a beautiful picturesque back drop of Victoria's Inner Harbor
has a sensible suggestion. Wewere mesmerized by the romantic affect
with the room's preparation. A waiting chilled bottle of wine consorting with
chocolate covered strawberries only amplified the romantic setting.
We took a moment to savor the time as we melted
away on the relaxing couch gazing across Victoria's Inner Harbor. The
adjacent large bedroom's soft, warm bedding simply added to the romantic
environment, providing our romantic weekend getaway with a stimulating touch. The Marriott had prepared everything, including the romantic flavor
Therapy soaps.
We found it very attractive, just enjoy this too
romantic escapade, there was no rush to engage in the typical tourist
Activities, you can simply relax in the beautiful romantic surroundings Marriott. The
Weather was not conducive to Victoria to explore thoroughly, but the
has nothing to us, we could spend quality time together in a lush romantic environment,

After several hours of relaxation in our
beautiful rooms we headed out of the romantic wonderland of Victoria to explore.
A walk hand in hand along the coast, overlooking the glittering Victoria
Dancing lights on the water reflection, makes for the best romantic
Occasion. We strolled up and down the streets of Victoria, no hurry, no
Worry, just enjoy each others company.

outside looked very appealing and inviting. We could not resist exploring
This cultural enjoyment. Tapas are small assortments of food, typical in
Spain, and the water in his mouth.
We decided that the "Tapa Platter For Two Rules"
Bowl full loaded with a wide assortment of spices affect Latin, Spanish,
and a touch of Cuba, South America and Mexico joy. The food was
prepared by theSpecialty chef, Armanda, in a large open kitchen. We
caught observe in amazement Armanda preparing the dish with such treats.
And much more, the food was delicious, highly recommended for the treatment of
Adventure and the addition of specialty spice your romantic getaway
Weekend. You can use the restaurant in the historic Trounce
Alley, right on Government Street.
For those who want to remove splinters in your romantic suite, instead of
venture into the heart of Victoria, the Marriott offers elegant meals
in your suite with its amazing "Fire & Water Fish and Chop
House Restaurant. "You have the opportunity to enjoy each others company to
romantic style, eating a delicious meal without everywhere. And,
You will find the menu items are very cheap. A highly recommended treatment,
and added touch to your romantic getaway.

Weekend could not last forever, we had to make the journey home back to Seattle
aboard the Clipper. Our departure time was late afternoon, we had
sufficient time to examine, from the Marriott, stroll through the streets of Victoria, and select
some gifts for the children. The Marriott has offered to "watch" our luggage
while we walked around Victoria for the last time that was very helpful, they
eliminates the trouble to draw a piece of luggage in Victoria.(The
